Starting from the left, the window depicts Spring and childhood, the creation of the day and night, the moon and stars, two red birds, fish, and a hart at a stream. In the lower part of the window you can see the arc of the earth. At the top, Adam appears, with the serpent below him. Then we see Eve, offering the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Above, and to the right are God's creating hand, and the throne of God with the stream of living water flowing down to earth.

In the center of the window, at the bottom, is a praying woman, dressed in blue, between two olive trees representing the Old and the New Testaments (here shown as "a" for the French ancien, and "n" for nouveau). Next we find the tree with the golden palms (2 Esdras 2:45-47).

The left section of the east window depicts the Jesse tree, which springs from the side of Jesse (the red supine figure) and forms a seven branched candelabrum with twelve lamps, signifying the prophets and kings of Judah. This is the family tree of Christ, and traces the descent of Jesus from the royal line of Jesse and David, his son. The tree is topped by the gold star of Mary's virginity.
