Five New Small Groups Welcome You!

This fall, Christ Church will be forming several small groups focused on various topics and approaches to scripture and facilitated by trained members of the parish.

Small group participation is a chance to get to know others and to be known and nurtured in a relaxed, personal setting. Whether we are discussing the application of scripture to our lives, providing care and concern to each other, or simply praying together, being part of a small group will allow us to genuinely connect with one another in authentic Christian community.

We warmly welcome you to join one of these small groups to find acceptance, support, and spiritual wisdom. For more details, please click the group name.

Lectio Divina: A Monthly Contemplative Group. Second Monday of each month, beginning Oct. 10, 1-year commitment, 9:00 to 10:30 am, Dea Burmeister’s home (contact Debra Ting, 650-949-2191).

Sunday Coffee Hour follows the 10:00 AM service and is an opportunity for visitors and parishioners to become acquainted.

Agape Groups are small groups of parishioners who meet in each other's homes five times during a 5-month period for a meal and conversation. Agape Groups are a great way for both newcomers and long-time parishioners to become acquainted.

The Messenger, our parish newsletter, is published monthly. It is mailed to all parishioners and interested visitors. The church also publishes a Church Directory.

Parish Events, such as Pentecost and St. Francis picnics and the Twelfth Night Party, occur throughout the year as we celebrate our life and ministry together.

The Annual Parish Retreat at the Bishop's Ranch is a popular event that includes time for play as well as worship and learning.
